The Empirical Evidence of Christianity

For hundreds and hundreds of years critics have passionately tried to destroy and undermine the historicity and reality surrounding the Christian faith. It is attacked more than any other faith in the world. It is fascinating that these critics are displeased or even downright offended by something that they claim does not exist. The criticism is directed at many aspects concerning the Christian faith. But the top two that would we would like to draw attention to are the validity of the bible and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. You will hear many people expound on a variety of opinions on how the bible is not translated correctly and that man has corrupted it’s writings as it has been past down through the years. Many cannot fathom that a book as old as the bible can contain the same message and words as it did thousands of years ago.

Jesus’ resurrection is one that critics especially draw critism to, for the simple fact that if the resurrection did not occur then Christianity is a man made myth. Few scientist’s and historians will deny the existence of Jesus Christ. They may not agree that he was the Son of God, but few to none will deny that a man named Jesus claimed to be God and was crucified, died and was laid in tomb. But, the resurrection is one that many want to deny. If Jesus rose from the dead, this would incline to historians that he was much more than some man who claimed to be God. It would prove that Jesus is who he said he was.
