Our Message
We welcome all...believers, non believers, atheists, people of all faiths...but most of all the Mormons. You are our targeted audience. Our message to you is simple. We care for you and want you to know the truth and come to know the Lord God.
A passage in Romans says, "Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and prayer to God is that the Jewish people might be saved. I know what enthusiasm they have for God, but it is misdirected zeal. For they don't understand God's way of making people right with himself. Instead they are clinging to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law. They won't go along with God's way. For Christ has accomplished the whole purpose of the law. All who believe in Him are made right with God."(Romans 10:1-4) This is our hope and prayer for the Mormons. The Mormon people's zeal can be honest and sincere, but lacks knowledge. Their passion for a power greater than themselves is nothing more than just that. We want the people of the Mormon faith to understand that they are following a gospel that Joseph Smith created. The God of the Bible can not be found in the Mormon church.
The Book of Mormon makes a promise to all that read its text. It says, "And when ye receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. An by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things."(Moroni 10:4-5) Most Mormons will fall back on this testimony they received when put to the test to explain their faith with reason, logic and a pure understanding of the Bible. The testimony that Mormons have is a feeling that is based on emotions and opinions that can not be argued. Our Testimony says that the Book of Mormon is not the Word of God and is nothing more than a fictional story created by Joseph Smith.
This is where we have a stand off. Two testimonies of opposing views of the Mormon faith have to be tested in some other way than just feelings. We need to test the text. Does it have a valid historical account? Does it's scripture speak in harmony with the teachings of the Holy Bible? Let us examine Mormonism at it's core and come to realize that we can be reconciled to God alone and not of the Mormon gospel.
